Ergon was commissioned by Better Work in 2011 to review Better Work’s Phase II strategy and targets, and to provide recommendations on how to prioritise activities during the remainder of Phase II.
The methodology for the review A review of core project documents, semi-structured interviews with global staff, semi-structured interviews with country programme staff, interviews with ILO representatives and IFC representatives, review and analysis of available data to seek to demonstrate the different levels of effort and resource that need to be applied to various potential future scenarios, development and testing of early recommendations with the Better Work Management team.
In the light of the review, Ergon proposed a series of recommendations for Better Work, its management group and donors and also suggested revisions to its project plan and logframe.
