Ergon worked with the social experts group from development finance and equator principles institutions to develop and facilitate a two-day meeting in Cologne, Germany. The meeting was attended by around 50 international specialists.
Ergon specifically developed a discussion on the issues of contract workers and supply chain labour standards under IFC PS2. This involved liaising with meeting participants in advance in order to identify the key issues they wished to cover at the event and also drawing out and capturing interesting case studies.
At the meeting, Ergon staff presented case studies and facilitated discussion around a series of hypothetical examples and developed and captured key action points for the group to continue to work on in the future.
