Ruta Corporate reporting

Corporate reporting

While reporting on labour issues is nowhere near as advanced as environmental reporting, Sustainability and Corporate Responsibility reports usually include basic policies on employment and labour responsibility and can contain more detailed performance data. The biggest on-line source of CSR reports is available from the corporateregister

The most comprehensive social an environmental reporting framework is the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI). This has launched a new reporting framework - G3 - which contains quantified labour performance indicators.

In the UK, from 2008, listed companies must produce a new Business Review including information on employees and/or supply chain labour risks where this is necessary for an understanding of the company's business. Guidelines for what should be contained are expected to be produced.
