ADB and ILO handbook on CLS

The Asian Development Bank (ADB) and the ILO have collaborated on a new handbook on core labour standards. The tool is the product of a regional technical assistance project and is aimed at ADB staff and ILO constituent members.

The Handbook contains sections on each of the four ILO core labour standards and analyses what they cover, examples of issues in practice and why they are important for ADB and its clients. The Philippines-based ADB and the ILO will be holding training and awareness-raising sessions on labour standards in the coming months.
