Natalie Perret

Natalie has a background in labour law and comes to us after two years as a Legal Officer for the International Labour Standards Department at the ILO, where she was responsible for drafting comments for the high-level committee of experts on the legislation and practice of different member States.

Prior to this, she was an Adviser, International at the New Zealand Department of Labour and prepared advice on the integration of international labour conventions into domestic law and policy. Natalie has undertaken missions to Thailand and the Philippines on occupational safety and health and freedom of association, respectively. She has been admitted as a Barrister and Solicitor to the High Court of New Zealand and completed an LLB and BA (Political Science and Chinese Mandarin) at Victoria University of Wellington.
