Director – Policy Stuart is a co-founder of Ergon and has over 20 years experience within the fields of corporate responsibility and socially responsible investment. He has wide experience of analysing and developing practical policy responses to corporate responsibility and sustainability challenges for a range of clients including multi-stakeholder initiatives, institutional investors, trades unions, international agencies and government bodies.
Stuart specialises in the development of reporting frameworks and assessment metrics on labour standards, particularly within multi-stakeholder initiatives, the Decent Work Agenda and analysis of supply chain labour issues within a variety of sectors. Prior to Ergon, he was Research Director at Pensions & Investment Research Consultants Ltd (PIRC), where he was responsible for the development of pioneering research and shareholder engagement services related to corporate responsibility, corporate governance and responsible investment. Before that he was Economic Research Officer at the Anti-Apartheid Movement, London. He is also a trustee of FairPensions – the campaign for responsible investment - and a non-executive director of PIRC. |
