Steve Gibbons is Ergon's Labour Rights Director. He has many years experience of working on labour rights issues not only from a legal perspective, but also in policy and strategic advisory roles, particularly analysing how varied organisations can best contribute to compliance with internationally-recognised labour standards. He also often acts as an expert trainer and facilitator.

Stuart is a co-founder of Ergon and has over 20 years experience within the fields of corporate responsibility and socially responsible investment. He has wide experience of analysing and developing practical policy responses to corporate responsibility and sustainability challenges for a range of clients including multi-stakeholder initiatives, institutional investors, trades unions, international agencies and government bodies.

Director - Research

A co-founder of Ergon, Alastair has provided policy advice and technical guidance on labour rights issues to a range of international financial institutions, NGOs and multi-stakeholder initiatives. Alastair's specialism is the relation between labour rights, sustainable development and finance. He is currently conducting research into the social and labour impacts of cotton production in West Africa, South Asia, Brazil and Central Asia.
