A co-founder of Ergon, Alastair has provided strategic advice, training and technical guidance on labour rights and employment issues to a wide range of organisations, including the European Commission (EC), UK Trade Union Congress (TUC), European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), UK Department for International Development (DFID), UK Ethical Trading Initiative (ETI), International Finance Corporation (IFC) Better Cotton Initiative (BCI), and the International Cotton Advisory Committee (ICAC).

Kirsten Newitt

kirsten newiitSenior Consultant

Kirsten started working for Ergon in 2008 and has managed research projects for a range of international organisations, including the ILO and the European Commission, with a focus on delivering clear and practical policy recommendations. She has experience in designing and carrying out stakeholder consultation processes and has carried out field work in differing geographical and political contexts, including Zambia, Ukraine and South Korea. As a qualified lawyer, she has provided advice and developed practical guidance material on labour standards in developed and developing economies.

Pins Brown

Senior Consultant

Researcher

Brett has a background in human rights law, international labour standards and corporate responsibility.
