About Us

Ergon is a specialist consultancy in the field of decent work, encompassing labour rights, employment and development.

We aim to contribute to the achievement of decent work by working with individual organisations and membership groups that are well placed to promote this, through investment, trade, commercial supply chains, development cooperation, human right work or advocacy. We understand that the value of our work lies in translating the goal of decent work into practical advice and activities specific to our clients’ situations.

Ergon Associates, 8 Coldbath Square. London. EC1R 5HL. +44 2077130386.

What we do

We undertake research and advisory assignments for a range of organisations worldwide, including private companies and investors, governments, donor agencies and inter-governmental organisations, as well as multi-stakeholder bodies, trade unions and civil society organisations. The majority of our work relates to working lives and jobs in transition and low-income countries.

The work we do is informed by our wide experience of working with different sectors, organisations and stakeholder viewpoints. Our work ranges from major international research projects on aspects of the Decent Work Agenda to focused consultancy that supports the delivery of improved respect for labour rights by individual enterprises.
