Supporting the Labour Standards and Poverty Reduction Forum

Ergon facilitated the regular meetings of the Labour Standards and Poverty Reduction Forum, funded by the Department for International Development (DFID), which brought together academics, NGOs, trade unions, government and companies.

To support the Forum’s work, Ergon liaised with a range of stakeholders on the meeting agendas, research and produced background research briefings, carried out meeting organisations and administration and facilitated meetings.

Some of the subjects covered in the Forum included: public procurement and labour standards, implementing the decent work agenda, the informal economy.
