We assist in translating policy into practice by developing implementation toolkits, including compliance monitoring processes, due diligence checklists, performance metrics, reporting processes and formats. We produce documentation and on-line resources to support policy implementation including best practice guides and manuals.
Member evaluation
We independently benchmark member participation in initiatives by developing performance metrics, comparing activities, and assessing performance against organisational commitments. We provide good practice analysis and examples to illustrate member progression.
Stakeholder engagement
We facilitate engagement with relevant stakeholders to strengthen and legitimise sectoral initiatives.
Special projects
We undertake customised research into emerging policy areas or challenging issues affecting the sector, including regional and country-specific research.
Training
We provide training for member organisations on understanding labour standards and human rights, understanding policy commitments and practical implementation of supply chain management processes. Often this involves training on understanding different stakeholder perspectives, their roles and expectations.
Peer reviews
We provide confidential peer reviews of public reports and other disclosures to highlight strengths and weaknesses and anticipate external reaction.
